Rest Up to Ramp Up

Grid Edge is currently wrapping up a whirl-wind year of new beginnings, new faces, and exciting change. We notably welcomed Paul McCorquodale as Grid Edge’s CEO and his vision for the company has helped elevate Grid Edge’s mission to new heights. We undoubtedly have a year of hard graft coming up in 2023 to empower evermore businesses to reach their sustainability goals in the built environment. However, before that Grid Edge is taking a moment to reflect on the year behind us; the challenges, successes and moments shared as a team.

In order to reflect, rest, and recuperate, Grid Edge is giving our teams an extra 3 days of paid time off. We will be closing our (virtual) offices from 26th December- 2nd Jan 2023 so that the team can return to work on the 3rd January well-rested and ready for another exciting year ahead.

The team has worked tremendously hard over the past 12 months towards our organisational goals and so Grid Edge would also like to take this opportunity to thank them for their efforts, the upcoming break is absolutely well deserved! We strive to create an environment where our employees feel well-supported and looked after, an environment where we always aim to do the right thing. Grid Edge is extremely lucky to have a group of people who so wholly embody our values and are kind, honest, and open-minded people who put our customers first.

Rest assured, as always, our customers remain our main priority and whilst the offices are closed from the 26th, there are processes in place to ensure that our customers can still access the platform and any support that they need during this time.

From Grid Edge, to all of our customers and partners, it has been an absolute pleasure to work with you this past year and we look forward to what 2023 brings.

In the modern business there often isn’t a time in the year where you can fully switch off even if you are on holiday, as one of the team is usually working and may need your help. We believe that it’s crucial to focus on the outcomes and that means our team often gives 150% throughout the year, which we really appreciate. Therefore, by everyone taking time off together, everyone can have an uninterrupted rest, ready to deliver their best for our customers in 2023. Recovery time is as important as game time.

-Paul McCorquodale, CEO

We hope everyone has a great festive break and we look forward to seeing you in 2023!
